PORT ADELAIDE could boast an unchanged line-up to its starting 22 for the first time this season when it runs out against St Kilda in Cairns on Saturday evening.
Under injury clouds during the week, star forward Robbie Gray and the defensive duo of All-Australian Aliir Aliir and captain Tom Jonas have each been named to face the Saints at Cazalys Stadium.
Young defender Lachie Jones, the activated medical substitute against the Eagles, falls out of the team, while late omission Miles Bergman (illness) remains unwell and will not partake in football at any level this weekend.
Wingman Xavier Duursma hasn’t featured at AFL level since Round 1 due to various injuries, but remains eligible to come into the side as the medical substitute having been named among the emergencies alongside the experienced Sam Mayes, small forward Jed McEntee and young defender Jake Pasini.
The medical substitute will be named from that group an hour before first bounce.
Port Adelaide clash with the Saints will mark the club’s first match for premiership points in Cairns, with action at Cazalys Stadium set to get underway from 7:25pm AEST.
