PORT ADELAIDE midfielder Trent Dumont will miss this weekend’s game against Sydney with a calf injury.

Dumont was subbed out during the third quarter of the game against Richmond on Thursday night after suffering a right calf strain. With the 26-year-old already improving and MRI showing a low-grade injury, he is not expected to miss too much football.

Defender Trent McKenzie has been added to the club’s injury list after receiving a knock to the head late in the SANFL win over Central District on Saturday.

Under the mandatory 12-day concussion recovery protocol, the 30-year-old will be unavailable this weekend.

McKenzie was playing his first game following knee surgery in April.

Forward Orazio Fantasia will re-join full training this week but remains another week away from making his return following a quad strain.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side to take on the Swans at Adelaide Oval. That game takes place from 1:15pm on Saturday.

Orazio Fantasia – quad (1-2 weeks)
