DYNAMIC ticket pricing will not be implemented by Port Adelaide in 2016, the club has confirmed.

This pricing structure, introduced by the AFL in 2016, will allow the league’s clubs to alter the prices of tickets to matches once they have gone on sale.

However, the Power won’t introduce this model, with the club’s general manager of membership Matthew Richardson saying the ticket prices will be set before the on-sale date for each game.

The Power will cap general admission tickets at $35 for adults, with the most expensive daily reserved seat remaining at $95.

“Some reserved seat categories will have different price points this year, but this applies to less than 10 percent of the total daily tickets on sale,” Richardson said.

“Our daily general admission ticket price won’t change, and all of our daily ticket prices are designed to drive value into membership - we don’t apologise for that.

“Our membership packages remain in the top four [of the league] for affordability, and an 11-game general admission ticket which provides access to all home games at just $175

"That's an over 50 percent saving compared to the gate price, so we still have the best value season ticket in the AFL.”

Reserved seat upgrades at play in 2016

General admission members will have the ability to upgrade into any available daily reserved seat at the Adelaide Oval before they go on sale to the public in this year.

Richardson says the Power's 11-game and three-game membership packages are the best value packages available, but can be further enhanced by taking up the game-by-game upgrade opportunity.

“We provide members with a 24-hour priority to upgrade into any available daily reserved seat before they go on sale to the public," Richardson said.

"Again, the clear message is that if you join up as a member, we’ll look after you.

“So really there are two ways to go attend a Port Adelaide game - buy a daily ticket online before the game or at the gate, or save significantly on the gate price with a 3-game and 11-game membership.”

Port Adelaide currently has 55,042 members ahead of the 2016 AFL season.
