Troy Chaplin is likely but not certain to return to the Power line-up to face the Swans on Sunday after being named on an extended interchange bench on Thursday night.

Chaplin was joined by Greg Bentley and Damon White as additions to a 25-man squad that will become 22 on Friday evening.

No-one has been dropped from last week’s side that lost to Geelong, although the Power must pick just four of its seven-man bench that includes Paul Stewart, Dean Brogan, Tom Logan and Matt Thomas from its Round 1 team.

White played much of the pre-season as a key rebounding defender, having spent all his previous 49 Power games up forward.

Bentley is a utility, who played arguably the best game of his career against Sydney in Sydney last year when manned up on mobile forward Ryan O’Keefe.

Chaplin has recovered from a broken hand he sustained in the opening round of the NAB Cup competition.

The Power’s 25, from which 22 will face Sydney on Sunday, is as follows…

B: Michael Pettigrew, Alipate Carlile, Jacob Surjan
HB: Peter Burgoyne, Toby Thurstans, Dom Cassisi
C: Travis Boak, Chad Cornes, Kane Cornes
HF: David Rodan, Justin Westhoff, Danyle Pearce

Foll: Brendon Lade, Steven Salopek, Shaun Burgoyne
Interchange from: Paul Stewart, Dean Brogan, Greg Bentley, Damon White, Troy Chaplin, Matt Thomas, Tom Logan
