The Port Adelaide Football Club will deliver its first Multicultural Gala Day to celebrate the conclusion of a 6-week introductory football program that has been delivered by AFL/Australia Post Ambassador and current Power player David Rodan.

The David Rodan Multicultural Gala Day will be opened by the Lieutenant Governor of South Australia and Chairman of the SA Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission, Mr Hieu Van Le AO, along with some entertainment by local cultural performers.

The club expects a large turnout on the day as it is part of Refugee Week, there will be cultural food stalls from India, South America, Fiji and South Africa on offer along with an Aussie barbeque. There will also be some cultural activities for the students to try out whilst not playing.

The Power encourages the local community and ethnic communities to come and celebrate the day. Entry is FREE.
