VERSATILE big man Charlie Dixon has been recognised by the fans for his strong Round 19 performance, voted as Port Adelaide’s best on ground in a tight contest at Adelaide Oval.

Splitting his time between the ruck and the forward line, Dixon made his presence felt with 23 disposals, with 15 of those contested – proving damaging wherever he found himself on the ground.

His two goals and three goal assists formed part of a game-high 12 score involvements for the bullish sharpshooter.

It is the first time he has claimed the maximum five votes, jumping into 7th on the MG MVP Leaderboard.

Runner-up in the fan vote was the powerful Sam Powell-Pepper, who recorded 19 touches, five tackles and 457 metres gained against the Cats.
