BRETT Ebert feels that after a positive two weeks on the field, both his and the Power’s seasons are back on track and is confident the good run can continue.

The start of the year was tough for Ebert trying to make an impact in Port Adelaide’s SANFL side before some eye-catching displays over the last month helped him reclaim his place in the Power squad.

Easing into AFL footy as the sub against Fremantle and then kicking his first goal for the year against the Kangaroos, he was named in the best players against the Gold Coast with 2 goals as he started to look like his old self again.

“It’s been up and down (this season), I had a hamstring to start with and then a bit of poor form in the SANFL and the Maggies but worked really hard over the last couple of months to get my form back and I’ve done alright over the last couple of weeks,” Ebert said.

Ebert’s revival coincides with a turn-around in the Power’s fortunes, with the club winning their last two games and 'Ebo' believes the good feeling around the club will be a factor when they play Carlton at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night.

“We’ve worked really hard and we had some close losses which has been disappointing, but to have those two wins in a row is definitely positive and we can take that into the Carlton game.”

The Power this week faces a Carlton side that held off a sprightly Melbourne outfit last week but maintains a long injury list, including Jarrad Waite and key midfielders Andrew Carrazzo and Marc Murphy.

When asked about his own game, the small forward was feeling good and excited to line up against the Blues.

“I’m ready to go Saturday night.”
