Children are free, do they still need a ticket? 
Yes, while access for Juniors (Under 18) is free, all attendees must redeem a ticket in advance of the match. Any junior without a pre-purchased ticket will not be permitted access to the match. All attendees at the match will be included in the venue capacity, and as a result children of all ages will need a ticket. 
 
Companion Card 
The AFL is a National Affiliate of the Companion Card program, and we agree to provide an admission ticket for the cardholder's companion at no charge. The Companion Card program is applicable at all AFLW Venues. 

Membership and game access

AFLW Membership gives you access to both home and away tickets during the 2024 NAB AFLW Competition in Season 9. Join now.

AFLW Game Access memberships and tickets provide general admission access to all Port Adelaide AFLW home and away games. For home games, seating in the Grandstands at Alberton Oval must be booked in advance through Ticketmaster. A $15 fee will apply and is subject to availability. 

Are memberships and tickets transferable? 
Tickets must not be on-sold, any member caught re-selling their tickets will have their membership cancelled. If you are unable to attend, you are permitted to forward your ticket to friends/family. 

Accessibility Viewing 
Accessibility viewing is located on the fence in between The Fos Williams Grandstand and Bob Quinn Grandstand. The Precinct deck also has limited viewing.

Getting to and from Alberton Oval

Public Transport 
You can get a train or bus to Alberton Oval. There is a five-minute walk from the Alberton train station and a two-minute walk from the bus stop.  

Train: Adelaide to Alberton Station every 30 minutes – OUTHA Route 

Bus: Stop V3 Currie St Adelaide - South side to Stop 32 Port Rd - South West side every 30 minutes

Taxis & Rideshare 
At the conclusion of the match Taxis & Rideshare will be available at Brougham Place Taxi Rank.  

Road Closure  
Patrons are advised that road closures are in place at the Brougham Place roundabout to along Queen Street ends at Earl Street. Brougham Place roundabout to Kingscote Street. Seventh Ave will have a reduction of speed in place. 

Is car parking available? 
No, only on street parking is available. Limited parking is available on Port Road medium strip in reduction of speed. 

Disability car parking 
Disability car parking is located on Brougham Place in road closure. 

Food & beverage

Food and beverages will be available in various locations around the oval:

  • The Precinct Village is located at the front of The Precinct  
  • Never Never Gin Bar - Southern end of ground near flag poles
  • Food vendors – Southern end on soccer pitch    
  • Pirate Life Bar located front of Fos Williams Family Grandstand
  • The Precinct Sports Bar upstairs and downstairs is a public bar
  • Pirate Life Van & Villi’s Bakery Van located at the side of Allan Scott Headquarters in car park 

Can I access The Precinct? 
For dinning in the restaurant you will need a booking on match day and a match day ticket to access The Precinct. Click here to book a table or call The Precinct (08) 8447 9902. All patrons will need a match day ticket to access the Sports Bar, Gaming Room and Café. We do have a capacity limit in The Precinct.

Can I bring food and drink into Alberton Oval? 
Only sealed water bottles and home-made food such as sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, etc. No soft drink or take away, for example McDonalds.

Can I bring alcohol into Alberton Oval? 
No. Fines apply to patrons caught trying to ‘smuggle’ alcohol into Alberton Oval.

On arrival at Alberton Oval

Please have your e-ticket ready for scanning on arrival at the gate. 

Bag Check & Magnetic Search 
100% bag searches are required to enter Alberton Oval as part of the AFL Terms & Conditions. Please present your bag at the security check point. Please refer to Terms & Conditions for a full list of permitted items into Alberton Oval. Random magnetic searching will take place on entry to Alberton Oval. 

Cloaking 
Please note there is no cloaking facilities available at Alberton Oval and all precluded items will not be stored during the event. 

Pass Outs 
To exit Alberton Oval you must scan out using your ticket on your mobile device. 

Folding Chairs 
Folding chairs will be permitted for our Elimination Final.

Smoking & Vaping 
Alberton Oval is a non-smoking & vaping venue. Those caught will be evicted. Designated smoking areas are located outside of the venue. 

Membership 
Located on entry at The Russell Ebert Gate and The Precinct reception. 

Merchandise 
The Port Store is located in The Precinct and is open match day. The Port Store Pop-up is also located outside of The Precinct near the Bob Quinn Grandstand.

First Aid  
St Johns personnel is located near Allan Scott Head Quarters behind light tower one. If you require immediate assistance, please reach out to the nearest Security Guard. 

Dry Areas  
The family friendly zone is located in The Precinct Village and at the Northern end goals in the cheer squad bay. 

Museum 
The Museum at the main entry on ground floor of The Precinct.
