GUN Brisbane Lions defender Pearce Hanley will miss Sunday's clash with the Power because of a small fracture in his hand.

lions.com.au reported this afternoon that Hanley will miss between two and four weeks.

The injury was sustained in Brisbane's win over Melbourne in Darwin on Saturday night.

The Irishman had been in outstanding form in 2013 playing off a half-back flank. He's expected to be replaced in the side by Brent Moloney or Mitch Golby.

Simon Black is expected to miss again.
