PORT ADELAIDE vice-captain Hamish Hartlett is set to play his first game of AFL football since rupturing his ACL at training in April last season.

Hartlett has trained strongly over the past month, and has played the last two SANFL games after recovering from some hamstring issues.

Gun midfielder Tom Rockliff will be assessed ahead of Port’s huge clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Rockliff missed the match-up with St Kilda in Shanghai due to a hamstring strain, and will have to get through training on Thursday if he is to make the trip to Perth in Round 13.

Co-captain Ollie Wines and key forward Charlie Dixon look set to spend another week in the SANFL, while Brad Ebert will return from a six-week absence against Norwood on Sunday.

Willem Drew impressed for the Magpies against Sturt last weekend with 29 touches and two goals, while Cam Hewett and mid-year draftee Cam Sutcliffe were both very good with 24 disposals each.

The final team for Port’s clash with the Dockers will be announced on Thursday evening.
