Dear Members & Supporters,

On behalf of everyone at Port Adelaide, I’d like to extend our thanks and gratitude for your support in 2022.

It’s been a busy period at the club, and as we approach the Christmas break, we are well prepared for 2023.

Membership renewals are an important indicator, and on the back of record membership in 2022, the demand for reserved seats and season tickets for our 2023 AFL season has been strong so far.

The AFL fixture provides early feature games, plus the bonus game of Gather Round in Round 5 means we host 12 home games at Adelaide Oval for our members in 2023.

Thanks to everyone for their commitment and support. I can’t understate how important membership is for every part of our club.

We congratulate the winners of the respective Best and Fairest awards, Connor Rozee, Hannah Ewings and Cam Sutcliffe.

Our AFL group are in the heat of the Sunshine Coast this week on training camp, and after spending a couple of days up there with them, I can assure you they are working hard and will go into the Christmas break in great condition and well prepared to attack 2023.

I am also pleased to confirm our financial result for 2022 is an operating profit of $3,463,522, which is another excellent result on the back of last year. This doesn’t include significant grant revenue associated with our re-development projects.

Importantly we’ve now been able to reduce our debt by almost $6.0m in two years, which is significant and a great reflection on the strength of the club.

Thank you again for your wonderful support of the Port Adelaide Football Club in 2022.

Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Cheers,

Richo
