ONE of the best parts of pre-game is back for Showdown 53.

A sea Port Adelaide colours and Prison Bar flags and banners, led by the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad, will bring the city to life as members and supporters march together as one to Adelaide Oval.

Fans are encouraged to support Port Adelaide’s SANFL side, who will be opening its season against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval at 3.10pm, before making their way to the march at the conclusion of the game.

The route will start at the Festival Plaza (access off King William Street), where people can meet from 5.30pm for a 6pm sharp departure.

Drummers will lead the march as the True Believers will walk through Festival Plaza and down onto the footbridge, arriving at Adelaide Oval by 6.10pm to give everyone plenty of time to get to their seats.

There will also be poster and flag giveaways to ensure everyone is kitted out for both the march and the first bounce.

This is a one-off event and won’t be occurring each home game, so get amongst it and feel the full excitement of the Port Adelaide faithful ahead of a huge clash against the Crows.

If you want to get involved, warm up your vocal cords, don your club colours and be ready to meet at the Festival Plaza main entrance from 5.30pm.
