THE fans have spoken, voting Sam Powell-Pepper as Port Adelaide’s best performer against Adelaide in Showdown LIII.

It was a difficult evening for Port Adelaide after a fourth quarter surge earned Adelaide the four points.

Despite the loss, the determined Powell-Pepper impressed with 15 disposals (nine contested) and seven score involvements, which included an important three goals.

His tough style of play, combined with his electric bursts in the forward line, caught the eye of the fans as the he continues his stellar patch of form.

This is the second consecutive MG MVP fan vote for Powell-Pepper, with the tough midfielder/forward also taking out the honours in Round 2.

His five votes see him jump to second on the Fans MG MVP Leaderboard.

Coming in second place in the Round 3 voting was Connor Rozee, with the young midfielder putting in another impressive performance – collecting 28 disposals, six clearances and a goal.

He also caught the attention of the Showdown Medal judges, finishing third in the voting.

The exciting talent sits atop of the Fans’ Leaderboard after a superb start to 2023.

Rounding out the votes were Charlie Dixon (three), Aliir Aliir (two) and Willem Drew (one).
