PORT Adelaide captain Tom Jonas has been suspended for one game by the Match Review Officer following Saturday’s Anzac Appeal Round game at Adelaide Oval.

Jonas was cited for rough conduct for his bump on West Coast’s Jai Culley in the second quarter of Port Adelaide’s 40-point win.

The incident was assessed to be careless conduct, of medium impact with high contact and a suspension of one game offered to the experienced backman.

Jonas and the club have until Monday to consider whether to appeal against the suspension.
