DEFENDER Kane Farrell will miss Friday night’s meeting with ladder leaders St Kilda after having surgery to repair a broken cheekbone.

Farrell suffered the injury in the second quarter of Port Adelaide’s AFL win over West Coast on Saturday.

While he was able to play out the game, an x-ray on Sunday revealed the fracture and he underwent surgery soon after.

The injury is likely to keep him sidelined for two to three weeks.
