Key forward Todd Marshall will miss Friday night’s blockbuster match against Narrm at Adelaide Oval.
The 24-year-old entered concussion protocols following a head clash with North Melbourne’s Curtis Taylor on Saturday.
Marshall showed improvement in his assessment on Monday, and will undergo extra testing as a precaution, given it’s his second concussion in three weeks.
Big man Charlie Dixon will be assessed later this week to see if he is fit to play, after imaging on Friday confirmed a quad strain.
Dixon was named in the travelling squad to Tasmania last Thursday, but was soon withdrawn after experiencing tightness in his quad.
Darcy Byrne-Jones was another late out on the morning of the Kangaroos’ clash with illness, but the utility has recovered well and will be available for Friday’s game.
Orazio Fantasia’s quad strain is continuing to improve, with the small forward set to integrate back into training over the coming week.
Yartapuulti will name its side for Friday’s Round 10 match against Narrm at Adelaide Oval on Thursday evening at 5:50pm ACST.
