DAN Houston has claimed Round 14 MG MVP honours following a standout performance on Thursday evening.

The side returned to Adelaide Oval and successfully conquered the reigning premiers to make it eleven consecutive wins heading into the bye.

Finding himself in a number of critical contests, the versatile winger led all disposal-getters with 31 whilst also adding six clearances and eight score involvements to his night.

The 25-year-old continues to go from strength-to-strength, quietly putting together a career-best year that would have him considered for early All-Australian contention.

He claims the maximum five votes and makes his way onto the MG MVP Leaderboard.

Runner-up in the Round 14 vote was the bullish fan-favourite, Sam Powell-Pepper.

Never one to shy away from the tough stuff, Powell-Pepper popped up for two outrageous goals in important moments in the game.

Fans will struggle to pick their favourite of the two, choosing between a ridiculous dribbler from the boundary and a double fend off snap to extend Port's lead in the final term.

Rounding out the votes this week was Zak Butters (23 touches and a goal), Todd Marshall (three goals) and Jeremy Finlayson (four goals).

Port Adelaide now enjoys a well-deserved week off, entering the bye with a 12-2 win-loss ledger and set to finish Round 14 at the top of the table.

The side will return to the field against Essendon at the MCG on 1 July.
