PortAdelaideFC.com.au goes behind enemy lines into Sydney territory to find out what’s been happening at the SCG, with some key Swans in doubt for Saturday’s match against Port Adelaide.

Sydney big man Shane Mumford will face a fitness test on Thursday to asses whether he will be able to face the Power at AAMI Stadium in round three.

Swans physiotherapist Matt Cameron says that whilst Mumford withdrew from their second round clash with Fremantle, he has improved in the days since.

“Shane’s back unfortunately pulled up sore from the last training session so we had to pull him out of the game,” said Cameron.

“He has improved since then and trained yesterday and we’re happy with the way he’s going, he just needs to get through training and pull up well on Thursday and then he’ll be ready to go.

“He’ll need to be able to (train) and pull up well and if he does he will be on the plane to Adelaide.”

Whilst Mumford is a chance to play the Power, mainstay defender Lewis Roberts-Thomson has been sidelined from the match with a fractured cheekbone.

Roberts-Thomson had surgery on Tuesday with a plate insert to stabilise the fracture, but will take three weeks to recover and will not fly with the team to Adelaide.
