Travis Boak is expected to return to the line-up for Sunday’s match against Fremantle, for Port Adelaide’s penultimate minor round game of the season.
Boak missed last weekend’s win over Greater Western Sydney due to illness, but has been named on the extended eight-player bench for Round 23.
Also coming into the 26-player side are young midfielders Jackson Mead and Hugh Jackson, with the latter yet to make his AFL debut.
Sam Hayes has kept his spot in the ruck after competing well against the Giants, while Francis Evans has been named on the bench after serving as the tactical substitute on Sunday.
Port Adelaide hasn’t taken on Fremantle this season, with the Dockers now just out of the finals’ race, sitting in 14th place.
Both sides come into Sunday’s clash off the back of an emphatic win last weekend, with the Power hoping to get one step closer to securing a top-two finish.
The final team will be named at 4:30pm ACST Friday, with the tactical sub to be announced one hour before the first bounce at 4:10pm ACST / 2:40pm AWST.
