In: Kirk, Teakle
Out: W. Ferrari, Visentini

PORT ADELAIDE has made two changes to its side for Sunday’s SANFL Elimination Final against Central District.

Ruck Brynn Teakle returns to the line-up after being an unused AFL emergency last weekend while reliable defender Brayden Kirk is also back.

They replace Dante Visentini, who goes out with quad tightness, and Will Ferrari, who has been omitted.

The experienced Scott Lycett will play his second game following knee surgery, having returned at Elizabeth Oval last weekend as the Magpies were overrun late by the Bulldogs.

The last time Port Adelaide met Central District in a final was the First Semi Final in 2015 when the Bulldogs won by five points, but the Magpies have an 11-4 win-loss record against this week’s opponent in finals.

The last time the club won an Elimination Final was against Central in 1998, having lost its last two Elimination Finals to South Adelaide (in 2006) and Norwood (2008).

Sunday’s match will be the club’s first finals match since the 2019 Grand Final.

First bounce at Adelaide Oval is at 12:15pm. Tickets are still available for the match, with Port Adelaide supporters encouraged to get down and support their team. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
