DEFENDER Trent McKenzie could make his return from a knee injury in Saturday night’s AFL Qualifying Final against Brisbane.
McKenzie has made good progress in his recovery from a partially torn PCL suffered in the Round 21 game against Geelong, joining in on full training drills over the weekend.
Forward Todd Marshall is also likely to come into consideration having missed the Round 24 win over Richmond with hip soreness.
The 24-year-old has resumed training with the group and is expected to be available.
Forward Charlie Dixon and ruck Dante Visentini are each at least a week from playing.
Dixon is back running following the foot injury which has kept him out of the last four games, while Visentini is also easing back into training, having missed Sunday’s SANFL Elimination Final with a quad strain.
Port Adelaide will name its side for Saturday night’s match against the Lions on Thursday evening at 5:50pm ACST.
