Matthew Lobbe will be tested ahead of selection for the final round of the 2012 season against Richmond at the MCG.

Lobbe injured his hamstring in the third quarter after dominating the ruck for Port Adelaide against Brisbane on Saturday.

With 29 hit outs, the absence of his influential presence in the air was partly attributed to the decline in Port Adelaide’s midfield superiority against the Lions during the final term.

He will be tested at training during the week ahead of Thursday night’s team selection.

Teammates Jasper Pittard and Jacob Surjan will also be tested this week as they continue their recovery from respective adductor and back injuries.

Meanwhile Andrew Moore has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring strain sustained against West Coast last week.

Moore was taken from the ground partway through the match.
