IN 2012 the Port Adelaide Football Club has recruited a great number of new ‘Power Brokers’ including Captain’s Club member Sivcorp Solar and its Managing Director, Marc Siv.

Marc’s professional background is in electrical engineering and has experience in project management and innovative development of clean energy solutions within the community.

Sivcorp Solar was launched in 2009 and has developed a strong foundation here in the Adelaide metropolitan area and in the state’s mid north.

The company offers solutions across a wide range of areas, including residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Sivcorp Solar have installed their high quality, German-made solar panels on many residential homes as well as wineries, schools and food processing plants across the state.

Marc says his long-term goal is to promote clean, renewable energy for use by businesses and individuals as a safe and efficient alternative to more polluting energy sources.

“I started the solar energy business based on my expertise in engineering and energy development,” says Siv.

“Energy will always be needed in the community and non-renewable energy will eventually run out.

Solar energy is one of the most efficient and safe ‘green’ energy sources and there is no shortage of it in Australia especially.”

Marc grew up in the Western suburbs of Adelaide after his parents migrated to Australia from Cambodia.

Whilst Marc’s parents did not understand the game of Australian Football, Marc has been a lifelong supporter of the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Marc is a testament to our society and also our club, where the game brings people of all walks of life together.

“Through Sivcorp Solar I have the ability to really get involved in the team that I’ve always supported,” he says.

“I am making a difference to the club through my sponsorship and my attendance at each game and have enjoyed meeting other passionate supporters.”
