PORT ADELAIDE has emerged from Round 8 in reasonable shape, with Janelle Cuthbertson and Indy Tahau the only two players on the club’s injury list.

Cuthbertson underwent a successful surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn flexor tendon in her left middle finger.

The co-vice-captain will recover with her hand in a splint, but will continue supporting the group during trainings and game days.

It has been almost a month since Tahau had her ACL reconstructed, with the tall forward to keep her leg in a brace for a few more weeks.

Port Adelaide will name its extended team for Sunday’s game against Hawthorn at 5:50pm ACDT on Thursday, with the final team announced at 4:30pm Friday.
