PORT ADELAIDE's annual AFLW best and fairest event will be held on the evening of Friday, 10 November at the Intercontinental Hotel. 

The most outstanding player will be awarded with the club’s Best and Fairest Medal, which was won in the club’s inaugural season by first-year player Hannah Ewings.   

Here is your guide to the awards being presented on the night. 

Best and Fairest Medal 
Awarded to: the best performing AFLW player. Following the completion of each game, the panel of senior coach Lauren Arnell, each player’s respective line coach and head of AFLW Juliet Haslam cast their votes. Each player’s performance is rated from 0-5, with a maximum of 15 and minimum of zero votes awarded per player, per game.

Best First-Year Player 
Awarded to: the best performing player in their first year in the AFLW competition.

Coaches’ Award 
Awarded to: the most improved player in the club’s AFLW side, as determined by senior coach Lauren Arnell and her coaching panel. 
Previous winner: Ella Boag (2022, S7) 

Players’ Player 
Awarded to: the player that best demonstrates the team values, as voted by the players. 
Previous winner: Ebony O’Dea (2022, S7)
