We take a look the key points going into Saturday's game against Freo...

Two changes for the Power brings Jake Neade in for the rested Angus Monfries, while Jay Schulz replaces Aaron Young.

And them…

11 changes. Whatever your stance on the 'player resting' controversy of this week, the fact remains the minor premiers have brought a younger, more inexperienced side over.

HERE ARE FREO'S CHANGES

What we loved last week

A tough slog against Gold Coast in tricky conditions required a pretty good effort from the whole Power team, but of particular note was the performance of Hamish Hartlett - best afield for Port Adelaide - and smalls Karl Amon and Sam Gray. Individuals aside, the bittersweet element to the end of Port's year has been the quality of football it has produced with little else on the line. This Saturday is a chance to cap the season on a positive note and run into September with some momentum.

SELECTION: Two changes for Power

What we didn’t…

An undermanned Gold Coast still found a way to get the back through Port's defence in the trying conditions despite the Power's ball superiority. Even with Freo's inexperienced fly-in side on Saturday, the Power will need to be defensively strong against the suffocating play of Ross Lyon's team.

PREVIEW: Power v Freo

Red flag

As shown by Richmond - at least in the first half - on Friday night, a stronger team on paper doesn't guarantee game advantage. While the Tigers got the job done against an undermanned North Melbourne, the Roos were able to lead at half time. There's actually plenty on the line for the players running out for Freo on Saturday - because any of the new 11 might be playing for a place in the Dockers' grand final line-up. Port must been on guard, and play well from the first bounce.

Watch out for...

Tough pick, but any of the blokes in this group are worth watching. Today is particularly significant for them.
