The Gold West membership is now available for the adults price of $305 and still gives access to the unique Western Stand at the ground, but without the grand final ticket guarantee in the event the Power plays on the last Saturday of September.
Gold West memeberships still carry all other benefits of the sold-out Essential Power category, including reciprocal rights to the MCG and entry into some SANFL games.
The club's general manager - member services Matthew Richardson says the high demand for season-ticket memberships had reached a point where entire categories were sold out.
He said the Gold West category would be an affordable and popular option for those seeking to watch the remainder of Port Adelaide's home season, including blockbuster night games against Hawthorn, Sydney, Essendon and Carlton.
“Due to the continuing demand for our season ticketed membership products and the fact that there are now very few reserved seat memberships still available, we have created this new season-ticketed membership to provide our members and supporters with a terrific seating option at the Adelaide Oval," Richardson said.
"There are nine incredible home games still to come, including Saturday or Friday night feature games against Hawthorn, Essendon, Sydney and Carlton
"The demand for season ticketed membership is still strong and this is also a great option for our 3-game and 11-game general admission members to consider.
"The other aspect which has led to the introduction of this membership is that we have sold all of our total allocation of memberships which receive a grand final ticket guarantee so we’ve introduced Gold West in order to manage this.
"As we saw on Saturday for the Brisbane game, there are some great seats on offer in the Western Stand and the fact we share this stand with the Adelaide Oval Football Members for our home games actually works to our advantage as the Crows supporting Oval members are unlikely to turn up giving our members more choice.”
There are approximately 3,000 Gold West membership available to purchase and Port Adelaide is encouraging any general admission members to consider upgrading into this membership option for the advantage of unparalleled seating in the Western Stand.
With exciting feature games against high-profile opponents Geelong (ANZAC Round), 2013 grand finalist Fremantle and four night games, the club's current general admission members can upgrade their membership to either a reserved seat or the Gold West membership.
General admission members (11-game general admission, country, interstate or 3-game members) can upgrade to a reserved seat for individual games, but with popular matches programmed onto the club's fixture at the Adelaide Oval, may need to either upgrade their membership or purchase a seat upgrade in advance via Ticketek to guarantee a seat at some games.
