BOYD WOODCOCK has been nominated for the Statewide Super League Mark of the Week for his grab against South Adelaide in Round 2 of the SANFL.

Woodcock was on the end of a Kai Pudney kick and launched high in a contest with one hand to pull down a remarkable mark.

The small forward has started his first season at the Magpies in fine form, averaging 17 touches and a goal a game.

Port host reigning premiers North Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Sunday afternoon from 2.10pm.
