PORT ADELAIDE forward Sam Powell-Pepper has been sent directly to the AFL tribunal over an incident in last Friday’s match simulation with Adelaide.
Powell-Pepper was cited for rough conduct over a bump in the first period on Adelaide defender Mark Keane that left the Irishman concussed.
The Match Review Officer classified the contact as careless, high and of severe impact.
The club is awaiting details of when the tribunal hearing will be held.
