VODAFONE, a key partner of the Power, recently conducted the “Vodafone Power Training Day”.

The telecommunications leader invited 40 clients to attend a money can’t buy experience at the Allan Scott Power Headquarters, where the participants had the opportunity to have a one-on-one training session with leading players from the club.

Players such as Troy Chaplin, Dean Brogan, Brett Ebert, David Rodan, Justin Westhoff, Alipate Carlile and Danyle Pearce took the group though their paces in the new indoor training facility.

The session featured a series of training drills, similar to those the players complete during regular training, including an exciting knock out goal kicking competition led by David Rodan.

The day was set up with a pre-game brief from the players in the team lecture theatre, including an opportunity for an intimate Q & A session.

Stuart Cochrane (former player and now Player Development Officer) also took the group on an “inner sanctum” tour of the new facilities, so that the guests could feel like they were a player for the day.

The day concluded with a high tempo scratch match, where Brett Ebert and Dean Brogan took on coaching responsibilities to help guide their respective teams.

After the match, all guests and players headed over to the Port Club for lunch, where the Best on Ground Award was announced by Troy Chaplin.

All guests received a Football as a gift from Vodafone, which the players were more then happy to sign, as a memento of the experience.

The Port Adelaide Football Club would like to thank Vodafone for making this day possible.
