PORT ADELAIDE has made a number of changes to its squad for Saturday’s SANFL Showdown at Adelaide Oval.
Among those included in an extended side are SANFL contracted players Brayden Calvett, Dustin Launer, Lachlan Pascoe, Kye Roberts and Hugh Ferrari.
Defender Jacob Moss retains his spot in the side after making his debut in last week’s win over Woodville-West Torrens, but teenage father-son prospect Louie Montgomery has finished a two-game stint with the side and will return to North Adelaide and to see out his school football campaign with Prince Alfred College.
Backman Ryan Burton has been promoted to the AFL side, while midfielder Will Lorenz, forward Jed McEntee and ruck Dante Visentini are the AFL emergencies and have not been named in the SANFL team.
If they are not required at AFL level, they will be eligible to feature for the Magpies.
First bounce at Adelaide Oval on Saturday is 3:20pm as part of the Showdown double header.
