Port Adelaide defender Dan Houston has been sent direct to the AFL tribunal following an incident during Saturday's Showdown.

Houston was cited by the Match Review Officer for rough conduct on Adelaide's Izak Rankine during the third quarter.

The incident has been classified as careless conduct and severe impact with high contact.

Esava Ratugolea (rough conduct), Charlie Dixon (striking), Zak Butters, Connor Rozee and Jackson Mead (engaging in a melee/wrestle) were all issued fines from the game.
