PORT ADELAIDE has named an unchanged line-up for its AFLW Week 2 clash with the Western Bulldogs on Friday evening.
It means the Week 1 Rising Star nominee Shineah Goody and fellow debutants Molly Brooksby and Piper Window have retained their spots in the line-up.
Midfielder Kirsty Lamb will come up against her former side for the first time since being traded to Port Adelaide in the off-season after 67 AFLW games and winning a premiership, best and fairest and All-Australian honours with the Dogs.
The game has been shifted to the MCG to be played as a curtain raiser to the AFL Elimination Final between the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn.
The move means the game will also be played at the earlier time of 4:30pm AEST / 4:00pm ACST. Gates will open at 4:00pm Melbourne time.
Fans who had purchased tickets to the NAB AFLW match originally scheduled at Whitten Oval will now receive a ticket to the MCG for both games at no additional cost, thanks to the competition’s major partner NAB.
The Friday night men’s game is sold out to the general public with a crowd of 90,000 expected on the night.
If you can’t make Port Adelaide’s game, you can watch it live on 7Mate, Fox Footy or Kayo, or you can tune in on WARF Radio or Casey Radio.
