PORT ADELAIDE's annual AFLW best and fairest event will be held on the evening of Monday, 9 December at SkyCity Adelaide. 

The most outstanding player will be awarded with the club’s Best and Fairest Medal, while a host of other awards will be presented on the night.

Here is your guide to what is up for grabs.

Best and Fairest Medal 
Awarded to: the best performing AFLW player. Following the completion of each game, the panel of senior coach Lauren Arnell, each player’s respective line coach and head of AFLW Shane Grimm cast their votes. Each player’s performance is rated from 0-5, with a maximum of 15 and minimum of zero votes awarded per player, per game.

Awarded to: the best performing player in their first year in the AFLW competition.

Awarded to: the most improved player in the club’s AFLW side, as determined by senior coach Lauren Arnell and her coaching panel.

Awarded to: the player that best demonstrates the team values, as voted by the players.
