Travis Boak could move to the top of Port Adelaide’s all-time games played list in 2025, surpassing club great Russell Ebert’s record.

The late Ebert tallied 392 games for Port Adelaide (367 SANFL games and 25 official pre-season matches), while Boak currently sits on 391 games (371 AFL games and 20 official pre-season matches).

Boak’s new milestone could come a year after his 350th AFL game in Round 2 of 2024, when he became the first Power player to get to 350.

Set to reach 200 AFL games is All-Australian defender, turned small forward Darcy Byrne-Jones, with the 29-year-old’s current AFL tally at 199.

An experienced trio could reach a 150-game milestone, with Connor Rozee (129 games), Rory Atkins (138 games) and returning forward Sam Powell-Pepper (142 games) all within the frame.

Powell-Pepper could be back on field as early as Round 1, with the beloved 26-year-old set to rejoin full training in January, following a serious knee injury.

As many as five players can become part of the hundred club, with Esava Ratugolea (98 games), Kane Farrell (93 games), Willie Rioli (90 games), Miles Bergman (83 games) and Brandon Zerk-Thatcher (77 games) all a chance to reach triple figures.

Several players could tick off their first milestone in AFL football, with Jed McEntee, Jackson Mead, Jase Burgoyne, Jordon Sweet and Dylan Williams all within reach of 50 games.

If key forward Todd Marshall can put together a season similar to what he did in 2022, he could be on track for 200 career goals, while Mitch Georgiades is 41 goals away from 150, with the 23-year-old booting 44 goals in 2024.

Marshall could also move into 10th place for most goals at Port Adelaide if he can produce a 35-goal season, overtaking Peter Burgoyne (193 goals).

Small forward Rioli (124 goals) is within reach of 150 career goals, while new recruit Jack Lukosius (79 goals) is on track for his hundredth AFL major, after crossing to Alberton from the Gold Coast.

Jeremy Finlayson would need a big year to reach 200, however the tall forward has previously put together seasons of 44 goals (GWS) and 38 goals (Port Adelaide).

Port Adelaide opens its AFL season on Saturday, 15 March against Collingwood at the MCG.
