PORT ADELAIDE has its new Roving Reporter presented by OAK Plus, with Damon Adams selected as the lucky candidate.
Adams will be the roving reporter when the team travels to Shanghai for its Round 11 clash with St Kilda, as well as all remaining home games in season 2019.
He will have inside access to closed training sessions at the club during the week, and free reign of the changerooms to conduct all of Port’s post-game interviews at Adelaide Oval.
Adams said he is thrilled with the opportunity to work closely with the football club - a team he has been a member for a number of years.
“I’m a Port Adelaide member, so I know the club back to front,” Adams told portadelaidefc.com.au.
“I couldn’t be more stoked. To be working with the club that I love and be doing something I love doing is wonderful.
“I can’t wait to share the insights with all of Port Adelaide’s members and supporters.”

Adams is a radio presenter on Power FM - where he co-hosts the morning breakfast show - and said he was excited when he found out about the opportunity to become Port Adelaide’s Roving Reporter.
“I was tagged in the roving reporter Facebook post by a bunch of mates,” he said.
“Instantly I thought this was something I wanted to do. We don’t do much sport on the show but I am so passionate about the club.”
To be able to travel with the team to China is something Adams described as surreal.
“I haven’t got my head around it yet to be honest. It’s going to be an incredible adventure heading over to China. It is such a surreal feeling at the moment.
“Hopefully I can help bring the supporters who can’t get over to the game in Shanghai a little bit closer to the action.
“I look forward to working with the players and all of Port’s media team.”
The club would like to thank everyone who sent in their Roving Reporter videos, and a massive congratulations to the successful candidate, Damon Adams.
