INS: Broadbent, Farrell, Johnson, Motlop
OUTS: Bonner (omitted), Butters (omitted), Ebert (concussion), Wines (leg)
PORT ADELAIDE has made four changes for its blockbuster Showdown clash with Adelaide on Saturday night.
Co-captain Ollie Wines will miss with a leg injury, while Brad Ebert (concussion) was the other injury stemming from Port’s loss to Collingwood last weekend.
Defender Riley Bonner and 2018 first-round draft pick Zak Butters have both been omitted.
Matthew Broadbent was a confirmed inclusion on Tuesday evening, and he will be joined by Kane Farrell, Aidyn Johnson and Steven Motlop.
Motlop returns to the senior side after spending the last three weeks in the SANFL.
The silky ball-user averaged 25.3 touches and more than a goal a game in his stint for the Magpies.
Speedsters Kane Farrell and Aidyn Johnson are both set to play their first AFL games of season 2019.
Farrell kicked three goals from his 13 disposals in last year’s Round 20 Showdown, while Johnson kicked three majors against West Coast the following week.
Butters, Billy Frampton, Sam Mayes and Trent McKenzie are the four emergencies.
Showdown XLVI starts at 7.10pm ACST on Saturday night, with the Power looking to square the ledger at 23 games apiece.
