TRAVIS Varcoe will learn the outcome of a forceful front-on contact charge coming out of Collingwood's loss to Hawthorn last Friday night.
Umpire Scott Jeffrey reported Varcoe during the fourth quarter for his hit on Hawthorn's Cyril Rioli.
The Match Review Panel will release its findings today, although Varcoe has received support from Rioli at the release of his third Fox Switft book on Sunday.
"It was just a high bump - I said that to him after the game, when we had the tribute to Phil Walsh," Rioli said.
"I said it wasn't much."
Port Adelaide could welcome Jackson Trengove back from illness this Thursday night.
