WEST COAST big man Drew Petrie has been sanctioned for his hit on Matt White in the Power's win over the Eagles on Sunday.
Petrie made head-high contact with White during the third quarter of the game.
The contact was assessed by the AFL Match Review Panel as being careless, with low impact to the head.
That carries a $1500 sanction, reduced to $1000 with an early guilty plea.
No Port Adelaide players were charged by the MRP in the game.
