STEVEN Summerton will start on the wing when the SANFL takes on the WAFL at Lathlain Park on Saturday.
It will be the Magpies captain's second appearance in the iconic state jumper, having taken the field against the VFL last year.
The SANFL team has won two of the last three encounters, and leads the overall ledger since 1991 by three wins.
Summerton will form part of a strong Croweater midfield, which includes Magarey Medallists Zane Kirkwood and Joel Cross, West Captain Chris Schmidt and Eagle James Boyd.
Central District skipper Paul Thomas will be the captain of the team.
The SANFL won last year's game against the VFL and will be looking to get the job done against the Sandgropers on Saturday.
Lathlain Park is the current home of the Perth Football Club and soon-to-be base of the West Coast Eagles.
Port Adelaide has a bye this week owing to the state game, but will resume with a home match against Glenelg on Sunday 31 May at Alberton.
