DANYLE Pearce has been fined for wrestling with Liam Shiels during the second quarter of the Round 11 clash with Hawthorn.

Pearce can accept a $900 sanction with an early guilty plea.

Shiels has received the same punishment for wrestling.

Meanwhile, Lance Franklin has been cleared by the match review panel for his tackle on Paul Stewart.

It was the view of the panel the tackle was not unreasonable in the circumstances and Stewart was not driven into the ground with excessive force.
