PORT ADELAIDE suffered a 21-point loss at the hands of Fremantle at Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday afternoon.
Some of the lessons learned from the Round 13 contest in the west.
Boak continues career-best season:
Travis Boak continued his phenomenal start to season 2019, with his ninth 30+ possession game from the opening 12 rounds.
Boak has already equalled his season-high number of 30+ disposal games - a feat he managed in 2014 - with 10 rounds still remaining.
The former skipper had a team-high 36 touches and kicked a goal against the Dockers on Saturday afternoon.
Hartlett fitted back into AFL football seamlessly:
Hamish Hartlett returned to senior football on Saturday, after missing more than 12 months with a ruptured ACL and hamstring issues.
Hartlett put his body on the line, and was as hard as anyone at the footy - collecting 23 touches, five marks and three tackles.
Farrell is silky in front of the big sticks:
Kane Farrell kicked four goals from his 10 touches against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Farrell has kicked 16.4 in his career to date - with Saturday’s tally of four goals against the Dockers the best of his career.
The 20-year-old has kicked multiple goals in four of his 10 games, and has only gone goalless twice.
His most accurate venue is Adelaide Oval, where he has managed 9.1 from his five games.
