PORT ADELAIDE’s SANFL side will be without Billy Frampton for this week’s game against North Adelaide after the ruckman was suspended for two games.
Frampton was charged with striking South Adelaide’s Joel Cross during the Magpies’ loss to the Panthers at Alberton Oval last Saturday.
The incident was considered to be intentional with high contact and a medium impact, meaning he was given a three-week ban.
With an early plea, the suspension was downgraded to two matches.
Frampton had 18 disposals, 23 hit-outs, six marks and a goal last week on a disappointing day for the Magpies.
They are back at home on Sunday to face the reigning premiers, the Roosters, from 2:10pm.
