PORT ADELAIDE will be forced to make at least two changes to the team that lost to Collingwood at Marvel Stadium last Friday night.

Co-captain Ollie Wines and Brad Ebert have both been ruled out for this week’s Showdown through injury, which opens up the door for players performing well in the SANFL.

Matthew Broadbent has already been a confirmed inclusion to play his first AFL game in 647 days in Showdown XLVI, after strong performances this year.

Jack Trengove continues to lead the league for possessions, averaging 36.8 touches a game for the Magpies across the first six rounds.

Joe Atley and Sam Mayes have also been finding plenty of the football.

Big men Billy Frampton and Peter Ladhams have both been in outstanding form, with Frampton kicking nine goals in the past fortnight.

Steven Motlop has been silky in the SANFL since being dropped from the senior side, while Kane Farrell could provide a small forward option.

The final team will be released on Thursday evening.
