SYDNEY could welcome back star midfielder Dan Hannebery for Sunday afternoon’s meeting with Port Adelaide at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Hannebery suffered a calf injury in pre-season and missed the Swans’ round one win over West Coast.
27-year-old played his first game of the year in a scratch match against the Swans academy last Friday night and Coach John Longmire has said that all signs point to him being available to face the Power.
The three-time All-Australian will have to get through training on Wednesday and Friday.
Tall forward Sam Reid could also play after being a late withdrawal from the side to face the Eagles, although this early in the season the Swans won’t want to take any risk with the
Fellow forward Gary Rohan could sit out another game while he awaits the birth of twins.
While Reid and Rohan might not be there, the Swans showed they still had plenty of scoring ability, particularly with star forward Lance Franklin booting eight goals from his side’s total of 18.

Luke Parker had 32 disposals in midfield and his audacious acrobatic scissor kick in the last quarter was a definite contender for goal of the season, while young Isaac Heeney booted a goal to go with 26 possessions and was important when the heat was on early.
The Swans will be keen to atone for the round one loss to the Power at the SCG in 2017, which was the start of a 0-6 opening to the season.
