IT’s the day after the night before, and portadelaidefc.com.au thought it would take a look back at how the Port Adelaide cohort fared on the AFL’s night of nights.

By that, we mean how they fared in the fashion stakes.

He may have polled the club’s most votes but that didn’t mean the cameras were drawn to him on the red carpet. In fact, the only red carpet photo we could find of Ollie Wines and his mate Hugh Evans was one he shared himself.

Ollie Wines and Hugh Evans

We did find this photo taken during the count.

Fashion-wise we don’t mind his all-black get-up, which gives him a point of difference from most others.

Justin and Rebecca Westhoff

Mr reliable on the field donned a pretty reliable tuxedo off it with an understated pocket square and he gave the beard a slight tidy up.

The big man let his wife Rebecca stand out with her flowy pastel blue dress and big smile.

As well as having his best season on the field, Westy was one of four finalists for the Jim Stynes Community Leadership award.

Travis Boak and Anthony Biemens

Now the head of underwear label Rogers, Boaky is expected to be hip on all the fashions and he didn’t disappoint with a simple but effective white shirt, black bow tie, tux combo with a rounded lapel.

The skipper is known for his leadership and it has carried over to his fashions with his date for the night, Anthony Biemans taking a leaf out of Boak’s book in the dress stakes. They may even have the same watch on.

Biemans is no stranger to footy. The partner of Boak’s sister Cassie is a former Port Adelaide Magpie and current South Adelaide player.

David and Libby Koch

The chairman took the black-tie note on the invitation very literally but he makes it work with a simple pocket square.

His wife Libby was more adventurous with a maroon jumpsuit accentuated by a clutch that matches Koch’s textured tie and dazzling necklace.

Tom Jonas and Millie Jordan

He’s a no-frills type of defender and Tom Jonas lived up to his reputation on the red carpet with a simple but classy tux with a shiny thin lapel and plain white pocket square.

His partner Millie Jordan on the other hand stood out in a long figure-hugging red dress with oversized red and gold ring and equally oversized earrings.

Robbie and Bel Gray

Gray exudes class on the field and he turned it up in the fashion stakes with a fresh take on an old classic.

Wearing a double-breasted velvet jacket with a thick lapel and bowtie, Gray nearly out-shone his wife Bel.

She beat him in the glamour-stakes, but only just, in a dusty pink dress featuring tiered ruffles.

Gavin and Pippa Wanganeen

Bringing it back to basics, the 1993 Brownlow Medallist might have been able to pull out the same suit he wore 25 years ago.

He even went with the ruffle shirt. Classic.

His wife Pippa turned on the sparkle with a detail-laden playsuit featuring all sorts of decorative lace and extra dazzle with shiny shoes and clutch.
