PORT ADELAIDE will be hoping recent history repeats as it prepares to meet Brisbane at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The Lions have never won at the stadium in five visits, racking up an average losing margin of 91 points.
The Power won comfortably, by 83 points in Round 6 at the Gabba and by 40 points in Round 13 at Adelaide Oval, when the sides met in 2017.
The last time Brisbane beat Port Adelaide was at the Gabba in Round 7, 2015, when the bottom-placed Lions stunned their more fancied opponents to win by 37 points.
The sides have met 34 times with Port Adelaide winning 17 of the encounters, the Lions 15 and the sides drawing twice.

The match will be the 150th for Lions skipper Dayne Beams while it will be the first time Power midfielder Tom Rockliff will face his former side since his move to Alberton in the 2017 trade period.
The teams
Port Adelaide will go in unchanged after its impressive win over Sydney at the SCG.
Former North Melbourne forward Lindsay Thomas has been named as an emergency after starring in the SANFL with six goals.
Former Gold Coast defender Trent McKenzie, forward Aidyn Johnson and wingman Karl Amon are also emergencies.
The Lions will welcome back Mitch Robinson from suspension with utility Daniel McStay the unlucky player to miss out.

“Tom Rockliff would be pretty keen to do well, as would Brisbane be to make sure he doesn’t do well, so I would imagine that Tommy would be a little bit anxious about tomorrow and how he wants to go about things but importantly for him he just needs to come and play his role,” he said.
“You can see, not just the two games this year, but we’ve seen Brisbane’s growth at the end of last year.
“We’ve seen their club improve and Fages (Chris Fagan) has done a great job with that young team and they’re going to come down here tomorrow and give us everything they’ve got and we need to stand up.
“The important part for me is that we have to come out and perform and look the same as we did in the first two games, regardless of who we play and where we play it at.
Chris Fagan
“They like to win the territory battle and win the turnover battle, and we’re the same,” he said.
“It’ll be good for us to test ourselves against the strong midfield group that they’ve got, I know our midfielders are looking forward to that challenge.
“That’s the culture we’re trying to create, is that no limits culture – if you want to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best.”
“They’re a team that we respect and at some point in time we want to be as good as them and we’re really looking forward to the challenge this week.”
