SAM POWELL-PEPPER has been nominated for Goal of the Year for his superb solo effort against Gold Coast.
Powell-Pepper picked up a loose ball on the boundary, crashed through the pack to the goal line, and slotted the goal over his head as he was lying on the ground.
The 20-year-old played a brilliant contested game, where he gathered 26 touches (17 contested) and laid 10 tackles, but it was his goal that dominated the headlines.
