FOR Member Recognition Round we are celebrating a member of the club each night in the lead-up to Saturday's clash with West Coast.

Meet Travis and Max.

Travis:

“I come from a long line of diehard PAFC family members dating back to the Foss Williams days. My Grandfather was a member, my Father was/is a member, so there was no way I was going to become anything else. Fortunately for me, I was lucky enough to be raised in the Port Adelaide family in an era where names like Ginever, Phillips, Hodges, Fiacchi, Buckley, Smith, Northeast and Wanganeen were common place and winning a Premiership seemed compulsory. My love for the club runs as deep as their history and success. As a kid I didn’t know anything else but black and white. Then came 1997 where the inclusion of teal and national exposure cemented my love for the club forever. Being a member means that I "belong".. I belong to a family that goes through great times and hard times; heartache and then absolute rapture.. being a member means that 'we' go through these times together. United. 

My Wife just read this and said “gee, you love this club more than me”….I wasn’t sure what to tell her.’"

Max:

“I’ve been a member since 2012 but a fan since my dad took me to my first game in 2011. Like my dad, I was born into the PAFC family from birth. I love PAFC because of all the great players and I like watching them play. Being a Member of Port Adelaide means I can go to all of the home games, sit with my dad and support the players…  AFL footy is a great sport to watch and play. It makes me feel happy when Port win! That’s all that matters…footy makes me feel good.."
