COLLINGWOOD’s Brodie Grundy was this week’s highest individual scorer with 147 AFL fantasy points but he still trails the overall leader Tom Mitchell by an incredible 227 points.

Grundy increased his overall value by $17,000 to make it $44,000 for the season with 25 disposals, 42 hit-outs, nine tackles, and a goal in his side’s win over Port Adelaide.

Mitchell had a quiet week by his standards, scoring just 106 points, some 24.5 below his season average.

The Brownlow Medal favourite still had 33 touches and three marks as well as six tackles but because of the lofty standards he has set for himself, he lost $24,000 in value.

It’s taken him further away from the magic $1,000,000 mark with his value still sitting at an extraordinary $939,000.

At Port Adelaide, only Justin Westhoff and Travis Boak scored more than 100 points in the loss to the Magpies.

Westhoff’s 129 has seen him extend his lead at the top of the club’s overall standings.

Justin Westhoff (mid/fwd - $642,000)

After losing value for three weeks in a row, Westhoff added $10,000 to his price with a vintage performance against Collingwood.

He had 22 disposals, four marks, and nine hit-outs.

The utility booted a vital early goal, won four free kicks and had a game-high 10 tackles – the best tackling effort of his career.

Port Adelaide’s most expensive player and highest scorer boosted his season average for points back above 100 – the only player in the side who can claim that.

He is also the only player in the side to score more than 2000 points this season.

Jarrod Lienert (def - $383,000)

The newest member of the Port Adelaide defence has added a whopping $213,000 to his overall value since the start of the season including $42,000 against Collingwood alone.

Those who got on the mature age recruit before he made his debut would be laughing at the moment.

Against the Magpies, he scored 82 points, above his 77-point average on the back of 17 disposals and career-highs in marks (nine) and tackles (three).

The 24-year-old is relatively popular with fantasy coaches with 18952 teams including him and it is easy to see why given, he costs just $4,974 per point scored, nearly $2300 cheaper than overall leader Tom Mitchell.

Brad Ebert (mid - $563,000)

Enjoying somewhat of a late-season resurgence, the consistent if not remarkable fantasy scorer has averaged 93.25 in the last four weeks.

He managed 97 against the Magpies retaining his spot as the club’s fourth-best scorer.

Ebert had 21 disposals, six marks and seven tackles at the MCG on Saturday, seeing his overall value increase by $13,000.

Travis Boak (mid/fwd - $576,000)

He’s lost $67,000 from his value since the start of the season despite being relatively consistent in scoring with an average of 87.3.

The Power skipper recorded 103 fantasy points for his performance against Collingwood, trying desperately to lift his team to what would have been a vital win.

He had 27 disposals, five marks, and four tackles, but also booted two goals.

It was the fourth time he’d kicked two goals this season.

Only appearing in 3996 fantasy teams, Boak isn’t all that popular with coaches but will be an important figure if Port Adelaide is to win over Essendon on Friday night and potentially worth trading in.
